Healthcare professionals are being invited to part in a survey about the quality and impact of diabetes inpatient guidelines.

The Joint British Diabetes Societies (JBDS) for Inpatient Care group was created in 2008 in a bid to ‘deliver a set of diabetes inpatient guidelines and proposed standards of care within secondary care organisations’.

The overall aim was to help improve inpatient diabetes care through the development and use of high quality evidence based guidelines, and through better inpatient care pathways.

Now, the organisation wants to know what clinical teams think about the guidelines, whether some of the content has been implemented and whether diabetes care has been improved within the teams’ settings.

The survey takes just under 10 minutes to complete and will help JBDS to improve its future guidelines in a bid to continue sharing good practice among clinical teams.
