Salary grade 6 – £27,285 to £31,604 per annum

Salary grade 7 – £33,518 to £38,833 per annum

Full-time fixed term contract for two years

The Diabetes Research Centre has an outstanding international reputation for its research in diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and also hosts the Leicester Clinical Trials Unit, NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and CLAHRC EM.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a full-time Statistician/Epidemiologist to work at the Diabetes Research Centre. You extract data and undertake epidemiological research of real-world data using established electronic health databases, including the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD). You will also contribute to the cardiometabolic real-world evidence data portfolio.

This position is being appointed at either grade 6 or grade 7 depending on experience. Appointment at grade 7 will require additional qualifications and experience and have additional accountabilities as described in the job summary.
