National diabetes workshop to be live streamed across three sites

A national workshop focussed on improving diabetes outcomes is to be streamed live across three UK locations.

Organised by the national organisation of consultant physicians in Britain who specialise in diabetes, it will be the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists‘ (ABCD) third annual workshop.

The event will see Professor Stephanie Amiel and Professor John Wilding unveil the latest clinical news from the American Diabetes Association and encourages attendees to engage with local colleagues, commissioners and networks in regional afternoon workshops.

NHS England’s chief executive Simon Stevens and Sir Muir Gray have been invited to discuss how to achieve and implement the right integration, accountability and sustainability with a range of other guests.

There three sites that will stream the event on Thursday, 12 July will be the Queen Mary University of London, the Wetherby Racecourse in Leeds and the Taunton Racecourse.
