Views sought on new Type 1 diabetes model
People with type 1 diabetes have been invited to a meeting to help develop a new ‘whole person’ model of care for the condition.
The Kaleidoscope approach aims to introduce a new cohesive, holistic model tailored to individual needs in a bid to improve self management.
BHR limited is leading a research study to test out the model and see what can be improved.
In an informal meeting on Wednesday, January 25, adults with type 1 diabetes have been asked to share their views on the project and help to refine the model.
The team wants to ensure Kaleidoscope is relevant, acceptable, uses appropriate language and is easy to fit into routine care.
The event takes place from 4pm until 5pm at Frank Design offices, 2nd floor, The Mews, Charlton Place, Manchester, M12 6HS.
