Diabetes in Surgery Project looking to recruit new clinical lead

The Centre for Perioperative Care and the Royal College of Surgeons is appealing for healthcare professionals working in diabetes to join its surgery project. 

The organisations are looking for a consultant or another senior healthcare professional to join its Diabetes in Surgery Quality Improvement Project.

The application deadline is Wednesday, August 31.

Duties of the role include:

• Attend collaborative meetings and webinars
• Identify quality measures
• Manage communications and stakeholder engagement
• Agree criteria and expectations for participating trusts
• Help to recruit trusts
• Act as project champion
• Provide ongoing advice
