Technological advancements that can enhance the lives of individuals living with diabetes will be the focus of an upcoming workshop hosted by the NHS.

The NHSX Regional Scale Programme will provide healthcare professionals with updated guidance on digitally enabled long term care management and online wards.

Interactive discussions will explore how digital innovations can improve policy, procedures and additional funding in the world of diabetes.

Clinicians and project staff from across the UK who are working on digitally-enabled schemes involving diabetes are being encouraged to attend the free webinar next month.

The two-hour long workshop will offer healthcare workers a chance to shape the future of diabetes care.

The National Specialty Advisor for Diabetes at NHS England, Professor Partha Kar OBE will introduce the online event with a presentation, followed by examples of remote monitoring services and allocated time slots for breakout conversations.

The virtual workshop will be held on Wednesday, 25 August, between 2pm and 4pm.

To attend the webinar, email Millie.Chester@nhsx.nhs.uk with your name, role, place of work and whether or not you are linked to an NHSX-funded project.
