Feedback sought by inpatient guidelines group
A group of senior clinicians which produces inpatient clinical guidelines for diabetes care is seeking views on future publications.
The Joint British Diabetes Society for Inpatient Care (JBDS-IP) has launched a consultation to help plan future documents and is inviting people to contribute by completing a short questionnaire.

The group is working to improve inpatient diabetes care across the UK through the development and use of high-quality, evidence-based guidelines and inpatient care pathways.
Last March, JBDS-IP published the third edition of its The Hospital Management of Hypoglycaemia in Adults with Diabetes Mellitus guideline to reflect changes to soft drinks on the back of the sugar tax. The guidance has been revised to factor in changes to the sugar content of beverages, including Lucozade and Ribena.
