“Hot topics and controversial issues” from within the endocrine community are to be covered during a forthcoming webinar in September, organisers have said.

Entitled ‘What’s new in endocrinology and diabetes 2020?’, the online presentation will be split into three different sessions, which will take part from Monday, September 21 to Wednesday, September 23.

The webinar, which is being held by the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) in association with the Society for Endocrinology, has lined up a series of diabetes and endocrinology experts who will discuss a rang of subjects including practical management challenges, new technology and investigational strategies and an update on relevant treatment strategies.

A certificate of attendance and CPD certificate with one CPD credit per webinar will be issued to those joining the webinar live. Certificates of attendance for CPD will be automatically issued after seven days, but only where a delegate watches the webinar live in its entirety.

To help support healthcare professionals and their continued learning opportunities during the coronavirus pandemic, the RSM’s COVID-19 online events are available free of charge.

While there will be small charges to register for other online education. These fees will enable the RSM to continue its programme of activities and will apply during the course of the pandemic.

Registration for all three webinars will close on Monday, 21 September at 2.30pm. You will receive the webinar link two hours before the meeting. Late registrations will not be accepted.
