Education, Technology Webinar

Registrations are now open for a webinar focusing on the clinical considerations when starting hybrid closed-loop therapy.

Led by Geraldine Gallen, a Senior Diabetes Specialist Nurse at Kings College Hospital in London, the session will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 21, at 1pm.

Hybrid closed-loop (HCL) therapy has transformed diabetes management, but successful adoption relies on a well-structured on-boarding process.

This expert-led webinar will explore the critical steps in ensuring people living with diabetes achieve optimal glycaemic control while gaining confidence in using the technology.

Key topics include:

  • Pre-assessments: selecting the right system, assessing psychological readiness, and addressing complex clinical needs
  • Essential education and optimisation: building a strong foundation with system settings tailored to individual needs
  • Ongoing support: enhancing self-management skills, leveraging peer support, and optimising service capacity.
