JBDS – IP seeks junior doctor to join the team
Junior doctors are invited to apply for a position within the Joint British Diabetes Societies Inpatient Care (JBDS – IP).
This unremunerated post is designed to help “refresh and update the existing guidelines” that have been produced and to help JBDS understand and appreciate the needs of junior doctors.
Although there is no payment for the work done, the successful applicant will have the honour of being a co-author on any guidelines, which to date have been downloaded over a million times across the world.
JBDS – IP Chair Professor Ketan Dhatariya said: “This role is a fantastic opportunity for a junior doctor to really make a difference to the increasing numbers of hospitalised inpatients with diabetes.
“Ideally, we’re looking for candidates who have the MRCP(UK), and also who have an interest in acute and general medicine. An interest in inpatient diabetes care is desirable.”
