This is an exciting opportunity to provide advanced podiatric care to patients in community clinic settings.

The department is keen to support and develop our podiatry clinical leads. The post includes clinical development and funding to support undertaking relevant Post Graduate courses i.e: Independent Prescribing, ACP Roles etc.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a high quality, accessible and timely evidence based clinical pathway for patients, supporting your local community podiatry team with high risk/wound clinics.

You will provide clinical leadership to that clinical pathway and take responsibility in educating colleagues and training staff with your specialist knowledge. You will help lead on the Training of Apprentice Podiatrists, CSW’s and mentoring newly qualified clinicians as well as students on placement. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work independently, organised and confident.
