People with diabetes invited to informative event

Individuals with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes are invited to attend an event taking place this autumn.

The InDependent Diabetes Trust (IDDT) will be staging the face-to-face conference at the Kettering Park Hotel on Saturday, October 29.

Entitled ‘Changing Times’, the in-person event is designed to reflect on some of the top issues that are currently impacting people living with diabetes and their families.

During the event, a variety of group discussions will be held, alongside several speaker sessions from some of the leading figures in diabetes care, including the international expert in diabetes in older people Professor Alan Sinclair.

Abban Qayyum, Senior Physiotherapist, Jane Chatham from Abbott, the manufacturers of the FreeStyle Libre, and Dr Gary Adams, from the University of Nottingham, will also be speaking during the event.
