Insulin pumps, Type 1 diabetes

UK pump teams have the opportunity to come together to share ideas and best practice at a forthcoming conference.

The Diabetes Technology Network UK (DTN-UK) meeting will take place on Thursday, April 23 in Liverpool. The organisation was created to support healthcare professionals who are involved in the delivery of technologies designed to improve the lives of people living with diabetes.

The meeting will appeal to all consultants, specialist registrars, nurse specialists and dieticians who are involved or interested in insulin pump therapy.

Throughout the day a range of speakers including Dr Patrik Choudhray, Dr Mark Evens and Peter J Hammond have been lined up to talk to delegates.

Professor Partha Kar will give an NHS England policy update and CGM Pregnancy will also be discussed. The afternoon will consist of workshops also tackle a range of different topics.

Conveniently, the conference will be followed by the opening of the ABCD Spring Meeting 2020.
