Registration now open for NHS webinar series on diabetes education

Health and social care staff, primarily working in primary care, are being encouraged to register for an upcoming lunch and learn webinar on structured diabetes education.

Hosted by NHS England and the Cambridge Diabetes Education Programme (CDEP), the free-to-attend webinar is aimed to support health and social care staff empower people living with diabetes to attend structured education.

The 45-minute webinar will showcase the available structured education options to improve uptake amongst people living with the condition.

Sara Kelly, from the NHS National Diabetes Programme, will be speaking during the online event – with Candice Ward, CDEP lead, chairing the session.

Attendees who join the live webinars will receive a certificate of attendance once the event has ended.

The first webinar was successfully delivered on the May 24, 2023, but there are another two opportunities to attend this webinar on June 13 and 15, 2023.
