‘Remarkable’ diabetes education spotlighted in recent awards ceremony

Healthcare teams from all corners of the UK came together earlier this week to honour the achievements highlighted in the annual X-PERT Health Audit Report and Awards, acknowledging substantial strides in diabetes management and education.

The 2023 audit results underscore substantial enhancements in the health and lifestyle of individuals living with diabetes nationwide, revealing the positive impact of X-PERT Health’s structured education sessions.

These results include:

  • HbA1c dropped by 10.8 mmol/mol
  • Fasting blood glucose decreased by 0.4 mmol/l
  • Cholesterol to HDL ratio reduced by 0.4
  • Body weight shed off by 4.2kg
  • Triglycerides to HDL ratio down by 0.4
  • Waist size slimmed down by 6.5cm

This recognition extends to commendable organisations and educators dedicated to delivering the X-PERT education programme throughout the UK.
