FreeStyle Libre online education programme launched

A series of free online modules and workshops designed to ensure people get the most out of the FreeStyle Libre are underway.

Aimed at both healthcare professionals and people with diabetes, they are being delivered by the Diabetes Technology Network UK (DTN-UK) as part of its FreeStyle Libre Education Programme.

DTN-UK, linked to the Association of British Diabetologists (ABCD), is an organisation which supports healthcare professionals involved in the delivery of technologies designed to improve the lives of people living with diabetes.

The programme involves a range of models as well as interactive online webcasts, with each presentation followed by a live question and answer session, proving an opportunity to post questions to a panel of experts. The next webcasts will be staged on the following dates:

  • Monday, April 1, 7pm to 8.40pm
  • Wednesday, May 15, 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Once the webcasts dates have passed these modules will be available to watch on the DTN-UK website for free.

The modules lead will present the content followed by an interactive online panel discussions.
