Invitations sought for Diabetes UK conference organising

Diabetes UK is now accepting applications for its 2019 Professional Conference Organising Committee.

The role of the Professional Conference Organising Committee is to formulate a programme with a broad range of topics and a mix of scientific and clinical care content.

The committee meets five times a year and committee members also mark the abstracts that are submitted to the conference to ensure quality data, evidence and research is presented.

The charity is looking for a practice nurse to join the committee. To apply, send a CV and a covering letter to healthcare@diabetes.org.uk, outlining the following:

  • the skills and expertise you would bring to the role
  • why you are interested in this position.
