New date for older people network event
The 3rd National Conference of the Older People’s Diabetes Network (OPDN) will now take place on Friday, November 13, 2015.
It will be held at Aston University, in Birmingham, with the date having been switched from November 6 due to a clash with another high-profile meeting.
The conference and network, which is led by its Clinical Lead Professor Alan Sinclair, is for anybody working in, or with an interest in, the field of older people with diabetes.
Features of the event include:
- High-profile speakers
- Sharing good practice
- National update
- Latest research news
Professor Sinclair said: “Having changed the date of the forthcoming OPDN meeting to November 6, we have been informed by many of our GP friends that it unfortunately clashes with the Primary Care Diabetes Society’s annual conference.
“As we do not want to exclude anybody from what will be a great relaunch of our network, we have therefore decided to move the date to Friday, November 13th. It will still take place at the University of Aston, Birmingham.”
The network is hosted by Diabetes Frail, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to excellence in diabetes care.
