Registration opens for Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2027 in Liverpool
Registration is now open for the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2027, which will bring together more than 2,400 healthcare professionals, researchers and industry partners to explore the latest developments in diabetes prevention, treatment and care.
Taking place from April 20 to 22, 2027, at Liverpool Experience Campus, the three-day event will focus on translating the latest research, evidence and innovation into improvements in diabetes care.
Prevention will be a central theme of the 2027 programme, with sessions examining how research, innovation and policy can be used to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes and support efforts to prevent the condition.
Delegates will have the opportunity to explore a range of topics, including diabetes technology and innovation, diabetes-related complications and obesity in diabetes.
The programme will also examine how emerging treatments, technologies and scientific evidence are changing clinical practice, helping healthcare professionals understand what these developments mean for their roles.
Alongside presentations from experts, interactive workshops and discussions will provide opportunities for delegates to question the evidence, exchange experiences and share approaches to common challenges in diabetes care.
People living with diabetes will also contribute throughout the conference, ensuring their experiences and perspectives remain central to discussions about research, prevention and treatment.
Max Klein, Professional Conferences Partnership Manager, Diabetes UK said: “The Diabetes UK Professional Conference brings the diabetes community together to share knowledge and learn from the latest research, care and innovation.
“In 2027, our focus on prevention is about turning ideas into action and improving outcomes for people living with diabetes.
“Whether you want to keep up with what’s changing or take new ideas back to your team, we look forward to welcoming you to Liverpool in April 2027.”
The conference will offer delegates three days to connect with colleagues from across the UK and beyond, discuss emerging evidence and consider how new approaches can be applied in clinical practice.
