Diabetes and multiple long-term conditions will be the focus of a free healthcare professional primary care conference next month.

The Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS) annual conference will take place on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7 at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

Now in its 20th year, the national conference will spread clinically focused education on a range of topics that are most relevant to the practicalities of managing diabetes in primary care today.

As well as best practice, attendees will be given printed and online learning materials to use towards their CPD profile. By attending the two-day conference, delegates can claim 12 CPD points.

Entitled ‘Diabetes care in the age of multiple long-term conditions’, the conference will give attendees the perfect opportunity to network with colleagues.

Diabetes experts have been lined up to deliver topical sessions, with the likes of Dr Clare Hambling and Professor Kamlesh Khunti taking to the stage.

The event is aimed at healthcare professionals working in primary care with an interest in diabetes.
