Registrations open for prestigious footcare conference
Healthcare professionals involved in diabetic footcare are invited to attend the longest standing biennial international diabetic foot meeting in May.
The 21st Malvern Diabetic Foot Conference will take place from Wednesday, May 13, to Friday, May 15, at The Malvern Theatres in Great Malvern.
Designed to engage physicians, surgeons, podiatrists, orthotists and nursing staff with a common interest in diabetic foot problems, the event will improve current understanding of the disease, showcase the latest research and act as a forum for the exchange of ideas.
Chaired by Professor Andrew Boulton, Professor of Medicine at the University of Manchester and Consultant Physician at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Professor Gerry Rayman, Consultant Physician at The Diabetes Centre Ipswich Hospital NHS, the three-day conference will draw on the expertise of specialists from up to 30 countries from around the world.
The 2026 conference will be the 21st Malvern Diabetic Foot Conference since its inception in 1986.
It has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 10 category 1 (external) CPD credits and by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for 10.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
Diabetic foot is one of the main causes for in-patient treatment amongst people with diabetes, prior research has reported.
