Applications open for Primary Care Leadership Programme
Diabetes UK is currently accepting applications for its Primary Care Leadership Programme.
The free, three-day leadership programme aims to support and grow local leaders to improve diabetes care by spreading improvement beyond the consultation room and across practices.
It has been developed in partnership with the Leicester Diabetes Centre and the Primary Care Diabetes Society.
The programme is open to any professional working in primary care, including community and non-clinical professionals, who can demonstrate the enthusiasm and passion, and ideas for improving diabetes care in their local area.
Diabetes UK is currently accepting application for three programmes running in Leicester, Wales and Scotland. Applications are open until April 7, 2019

Suraiya Chowdhury, Leadership Programme Manager at Diabetes UK, said: “This course will enable clinicians to develop the skills needed to drive transformational change in diabetes care, and spread improvement beyond the consultation room and across practices. The programme will also be an opportunity for clinicians to identify both barriers and solutions to improving care, and network with colleagues from across the country.”
