Diabetes Self-Management Putting the Pieces Together

£70Details about the fourth conference of the Diabetes Self-Management Alliance have been announced.
The event ‘Diabetes self-management – putting the pieces together’ will take place in Glasgow at the Golden Jubilee Hotel on December 6 and 7, 2018.
The annual conference has previously been held in Leicester, Copenhagen and Galway.
A series of renowned international speakers have been confirmed, including Professor Allan Flyvbjerg, CEO of the Steno Diabetes Center, Professor Simon Heller, Professor Stephanie Amiel, Sue Cradock and Dr Andrew Keen.
The conference is not funded by industry, but is supported by Diabetes UK, EASD, ABCD, NUI Galway, Steno Diabetes Center and Leicester Diabetes Centre.
The programme content focusing on lifestyle, self-management and education is hugely topical given the ADA and EASD recently published guidelines for management of type 2 diabetes management authored by Professor Melanie Davies CBE and colleagues.
