Live diabetes webinar to take place

Healthcare professionals with an interest in diabetes are being invited to register for a live webinar looking at the latest interventions into the condition.

Measuring the Cost of the Right Interventions in Diabetes will explore the patient pathway and how effective modelling – when pharma works together with healthcare stakeholders – can improve outcomes for both patients and the healthcare system as a whole.

Guest speakers have been lined up to speak at the free event on Thursday, September 8 at 3pm.

John Grumitt, who is vice president of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and locally a also vice president of Diabetes UK, is set to participate, along with Dr Phil McEwan, IMS health associate and diabetes HE modelling ‎advisor, and Professor Michael Trenell, who is professor of metabolism and lifestyle medicine at Newcastle University.
