Managing diabetes through covid-19 webinars launched

A new series of sick-day rules educational webinars covering for healthcare professionals are now available.

The virtual series titled ‘Managing diabetes through Covid-19′ focus on sick day rules and the importance of these rules for people with diabetes should they develop covid-19.

The webinar will be delivered by Lilly’s diabetes’ medical education team, all of whom have worked as Diabetes Specialist Nurses in the NHS, and is designed to provide a flexible online training solution to support healthcare professionals during this time.

The training is aligned with national guidelines such as TREND UK. 

Open to any healthcare professionals, the 40-minute webinar includes time for Q&A and will be run twice per day, at 1pm and 4pm. They started on 6 April and do not take place on bank holidays and weekends. 

The meetings are classified as promotional in nature – this is because it includes information on all therapeutic options, including Lilly products.
