Adults living with diabetes are now invited to take part in a four-week compassionate mind training programme.

Researchers at Salomons Institute of Applied Psychology are recruiting individuals with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes for the programme to better support their mental wellbeing.

The month-long training will also help people living with diabetes better manage their condition, the academics involved in the programme have said.

Participants will be offered a four-week training programme and will be asked to fill in questionnaires about their experiences during the study.

The aim of this study is to provide an online compassion intervention to adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, who experience diabetes distress, self-criticism, and shame in relation to their diagnosis.
