Life-threatening asthma, sepsis, epilepsy and diabetes in children

November 9, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Anaesthesia Section of The Royal Society of Medicine are pleased to announce that this one day meeting is jointly organised with The Royal College of Anaesthetists.

Life-threatening asthma, epilepsy, diabetes and sepsis in children, before and when admitted to hospital, requires immediate and sophisticated care. However, care is likely to be given by trainees with little experience who may have never before faced patients with these problems.

This meeting will provide up-to-date information and guidance from experts, and will alleviate that heart-sinking feeling of not knowing what is best for severely ill children under your care. The treatment for these conditions can also be applied to adult patients as well as children.

The meeting will be of interest to general practitioners, anaesthetists, intensivists, emergency medicine clinicians, endocrinologist, neurologists, nurses and paediatricians, however all disciplines and grades are welcome to attend.
