Organisers of a national campaign that promotes insulin safety has unveiled that this year’s awareness week will take place between Monday, May 2 and Sunday, May 8.

Following a phenomenally successful Insulin Safety Week 2021, the annual campaign will return this year to raise awareness of insulin safety in hospitals and other care settings across the UK and Ireland.

Organised by Orange Juice Communications, the awareness week aims to reduce the number of insulin errors made by healthcare professionals.

Last year, more than 500 sites were involved with the ‘highly regarded’ insulin safety awareness campaign.

The team at Orange Juice has revealed that it is now focusing its attention on delivering an exceptional Insulin Safety Week 2022.

Ahead of the awareness week, registered sites will receive a printed resource pack to bring their campaign to life, which includes posters, balloons and t-shirts.

In addition, they will receive an online resource pack, containing graphics, templates and guidelines.
