Hosted by Cambridge University Hospitals, the in-person course will take place at the Novotel Cambridge North on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28, 2025.

The course will teach attendees about the latest diabetes technology, including hybrid closed loop systems with hands-on experience with the pumps and sensors.

In addition, the delegates will learn about the:

  • Interpretation of reports and optimisation of systems
  • Use of, and managing/optimising technology in pregnancy
  • Utilisation of technology to manage exercise
  • Latest research in diabetes technology.

“The Cambridge advance insulin pump course is a course that I would definitely recommend to all my colleagues who review individuals living with diabetes and on insulin pump therapy,” said one attendee.

They added: “I attended the course with no expectation that I would learn anything, and I was pleasantly surprised. I cannot stop raving about what I learnt to whoever cares to listen.”

Meanwhile, another stated: “I heard about this course from a colleague and I’m extremely glad I applied for a place, and it was successful.

“This was an extremely well-run course that was relevant to my practice, and I have taken a lot away from it and hope that the information will help improve our service locally.”
