Entitled ‘Endocrinology and diabetes perioperative care’, the webinar series is taking place virtually from Tuesday, March 18 to Thursday, March 20.
The first webinar in the three-day series will delve into the impact of glucose management during the perioperative period, uncovering proven interventions and innovative strategies to optimise care through precise manipulation of glucose-lowering agents.
Meanwhile, the second session aims to empower surgeons, anaesthetists and endocrinologists to confidently navigate the complexities of perioperative care for people with phaeochromocytomas and those undergoing pituitary surgery.
The final session will focus on mastering the perioperative management of thyroid and parathyroid surgeries, along with addressing the critical endocrine and obstetric challenges during the peripartum period.
